How big a bag of Dog Food should I buy at once:?
I have two Dogs, a 15 lb and a 10 lb dog. I don’t want the dry food to go bad so fast, how big a bag is ok to buy at one time, like how many lbs? Thanks!
I guess I’ve never priced out the difference in buying big bags vs little bags.
You may be able to save some money buying the bigger bag, but like you said you don’t want it to go bad.
If you’ve got the freezer space you could get the big bag, divide into portions needed for a week and freeze them. The food will stay fresh that way.
Otherwise I’d just buy a bag big enough to last for a week or two.
